Napoli Pride Park 2026: from Odessa to Beirut — stories of struggle and freedom
On 26 June at 18:00, at the historic Real Albergo dei Poveri complex (Piazza Carlo III, Naples), a meeting entitled ‘Storie di Pride’ will take place, dedicated to the experiences of LGBTQ+ communities across the Mediterranean — from Odessa to Beirut — in the run-up to EuroPride Torino 2027.
The discussion will feature representatives from Odessa Pride, Beirut Pride and the Napoli Pride committee, as well as activists from Messina, Taranto, Syracuse, Salerno and Vesuvius. Joining the conversation online will be representatives from ILGA World and Cagliari Pride, as well as participants from New York’s Stonewall Inn and the American psychiatrist and writer Jack Drescher.
The event will take place as part of the Napoli Pride Park 2026 programme — a space for dialogue, culture and the defence of civil rights, accompanying the Napoli Pride celebrations.
